Who is Al-Nassr president Musalli Al-Muammar?

Musalli Al-Muammar is the president of the club and was elected by Al Nassr board members in 2021.

Before that, Al-Muammar was president of the Saudi Pro League for nearly two years.

Al-Nassr has also close ties with the royal family of the country.

Prince Khalid bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz is reportedly the main man behind Al-Nassr’s major funding in football over the last few years.

Al-Muammar was also favoured by the Prince to take over as the president of the football club.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran.

After that, he did his master’s degree in marketing communications at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Al-Muammar then worked as a sports columnist for Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper from 2007 to 2017.

Little is known about Al-Muammar’s net worth and he has managed to not reveal any information on his investments.

One thing he did reveal was that when took the club over in 2021, Al-Nassr was in debt of £50 million.

Ronaldo stated that he received a lot of offers from different clubs from BrazilPortugal and the United States.

But, he said that he gave his word to Al-Nassr, and after playing for the top clubs in Europe, now it was time for a new challenge – Asia.

Ahead of his unveiling, the 37-year-old was greeted by a capacity crowd of 25,000 at a raucous Mrsool Park in Riyad, along with a spectacular light show.

The Twitter account of Al-Nassr put a video of the ceremony, with the caption, “The GOAT (Greatest of all time) has arrived”.

Before walking onto the pitch to greet his new fans, Ronaldo said in a press conference: ” I feel so proud to make this big decision in my life.”

Al Nassr is coached by Rudi Garcia, who previously managed LilleRomaMarseille and Lyon.

They are top of the league this season after 11 games.

The team must win the league this season to qualify for the 2023-24 Asian Champions League.
