A SHOCKING video caught the moment the driver of a muscle car lost control and crashed at high speed.
The video, shot with a smartphone, shows the car sliding left to right and narrowly missing bystanders.

Uploaded to Facebook by user Derwin Morgan, the video starts with a red Ford Mustang and green Chevrolet Camaro lining up to race.
This looks to be happening in the US, where street racing of this kind is illegal.

There’s a crowd at the start as well as people further down the road near the person filming as the cars set off.
The Camaro takes an early lead but the driver quickly starts to lose control.
After pointing towards bystanders for a moment, they manage to point it the other way before spinning.
The Mustang has slowed by this point and its driver watches on as the Camaro does a 180-degree spin into the trees.
The person who uploaded the video to Facebook said: “Everyone walked away.
“Mine is ok… thanks for all calls and messages.
“That’s actually a dark green Camaro and he is ok
“We are currently working with Local Authorities to put on one here locally! Thanks for all the support.”
But there wasn’t much support for the actions of the drivers in the comments on the video.
One person said: “Cars are too fast now to be trying to get down that junk *ss road they raced on 50 years ago.
“A lot has changed. I don’t try and race there anymore.”
Another person said: “Just imagine if the Camaro had gone to the other side of the road. Would have been a disaster.”
While a third person said: “And this is why I don’t care about the names people call me when I say I don’t street race.
“Glad no one died, but I’ll never understand going out risking a 50-100k+ car to win some pocket change on a slick road.”
