DRIVERS on a motorway were left stunned after an Audi driver attempted an undertake on an HGV.
The impatient Audi driver ran out of road and ended up making a very expensive mistake.

The video was uploaded to Instagram on the @crashdashes channel and is shot using a dash cam in a car.
The dash cam car is making its way along a motorway when a black Audi A5 passes it on the inside.

Ahead of the dash cam car is a huge HGV and the Audi moves to pass that too.
The Audi is alongside the HGV when its brake lights come on and it becomes clear the driver has changed their mind.
However, it’s too late and the lane runs out and the Audi driver has nowhere left to go.
The side of the HGV’s trailers smashes the Audi into the concrete barrier and does huge damage.
The HGV simply carries on up the motorway as though nothing has happened.
The Audi, meanwhile, is left motionless by the accident the video ends with the dash cam car slowing down to pass it.
Given the extent of the smash, it’s likely the Audi has been written-off by the impact.
People couldn’t believe how impatient the Audi driver was.
One said in the comments: “Never pass on the right! Truck should just keep going. No fault there.”
Another said: “So many meatheads on the road.
“On one hand the truck could have killed that driver.
“On the other hand was it worth it to try to overtake the truck in that merging lane?”
