CONOR McGREGOR and Nate Diaz have been backed to complete their UFC trilogy series.
Diaz became the first in the UFC to beat McGregor, in March 2016, but lost a thrilling rematch five months later.

A trilogy decider has evaded fans ever since and threatened to fall by the wayside when the American this year walked out on the UFC.
Now Diaz is set to launch his own fight promotion and is linked with a boxing match against YouTube star Jake Paul.
But ex-UFC title challenger-turned pundit Chael Sonnen warned not to rule out a trilogy with McGregor.
Sonnen said on The MMA Hour: “What I’m trying to say is all options are on the table.
“But that option is also to return to the UFC and to fight Conor McGregor.
“That’s not just gone now, and it has to be Jake Paul or Floyd Mayweather and he’s got to go start his own promotion.
“Those things are all possibilities, but a return is also on the table – in fact, I think it’s leading the charge of what’s possible for Nate Diaz.
“He would not just be coming back. There would be a brand new and fresh conversation to be had and I think he wants to have that conversation. Yeah, I think it’s leading the way.
“I don’t think he’s going off to box Floyd, I don’t know how much legs there is to Jake Paul, I realise there is something there to both, but what about his own promotion?”
Diaz, 37, beat Tony Ferguson, 38, in the final fight on his UFC contract.
Meanwhile McGregor, 34, has not fought since July 2021, when he broke his leg against Dustin Poirier, 33.
