Stelling‘s account posted a festive picture of pigs and blankets… with an X-rated twist.

In the bottom right of the image, a penis wrapped in bacon could be seen.

The post was captioned: “Love cooking Xmas dinner, I always do it in the buff!”

Stelling, 67, quickly explained to his followers what had happened.

He wrote: “My bloody sons. All their presents going back !

“All Robbie will get is a Darlo shirt and Matt a ticket to a Palace game. FFS !!”

Stelling has three children with wife Liz; Robbie, 24, Matthew, 23 and Olivia, 19.

And the blame for the X-rated post appeared to be put solely on Robbie and Matthew.

The popular Soccer Saturday host of more than 18 years initially kept the tweet up before deciding to delete it.

When it was pointed out that he’d gotten rid of the post, he explained: “Deleted because though I thought it funny – as did my lads who tweeted it- some people offended.

“If you were then I am sorry, but it does seem we are not allowed to laugh at anything these days.”

Stelling will be back on TV screens tomorrow, when he hosts a special Boxing Day edition of Soccer Saturday.

He initially announced that he would quit the show last season, before performing a dramatic U-turn later in the year.

Confirming the popular reversal, Stelling said at the time: “Sky Sports is my home, and the Soccer Saturday team are a big part of my life.

“As the end of the season approached, and I was preparing to say goodbye, I realised that I was not ready to blow the final whistle and leave the best job in the world.

“I am thrilled to be staying, and excited about moving the show forward and creating more special Saturday afternoons on Sky Sports.”
