The TV star said she got ‘minimum wage’ for starring on Love IslandITV

Casa Amor bombshell Coco, 27, said she hoped to leave the show with around one or two million followers.

However, a disappointed Coco said: “Going in there to find love is a bonus, but you go in there for what you can get afterwards.

“It would’ve been nice to have 1 million followers on Instagram, but I got like 30k and I just didn’t understand, because I was like, ‘why does everyone hate me?’”

“I genuinely didn’t get paid for like six weeks after leaving the show.”

She added: “You get paid minimum wage. How am I meant to pay bills?

“I haven’t got paid anything for all the social media stuff I’ve done yet.”

In July, the graphic designer from Surrey – who also worked as a ring girl and a shot girl – said she had returned to selling drinks in clubs, just two weeks after the show came to an end.

Answering fans submitted by fans in a tell-all Q&A, she was asked what her career prospects were after the show.

“What is your next move?” Coco was asked, to which she explained she was branching out with work on “TikTok and Instagram”.

“There’s potential other TV shows in the line-up,” she teased, before revealing she would also be returning to her shot girl past.

“I’m also still doing everything I did before Love Island, I never ever wanted to give up those things,” Coco went on.

“I just wanted to use the show to find new career opportunities as well as continue what I was doing before.

“I have my own graphic design business and I also do shot girling, where I sell Jägerbombs in clubs.”

Unfortunately, Coco did not find love in the villa after being coupled up with Andrew Le Page, 27, and was given the boot with co-star Josh Le Grove, 22.
