Shoppers are only just realising you can buy Quality Streets with only ONE flavour – but you’ll have to be quick

QUALITY Street fans are only just realising you can buy bags of the chocs with just one flavour.

Shoppers have been sharing the find on social media, with hundreds of people shocked to learn they can get their favourite flavour in one bag.

Posting the find to TikTok, one user shared a video and encouraged her followers to “run don’t walk to Aldi”.

She picked up a bag of the Quality Street Favourites Strawberry Delight from the discount retailer.

Describing the sweets as “The GOAT [greatest of all time] of quality streets” the clip was met with hundreds of likes and comments from surprised shoppers.

Many were thrilled to find they could get their favourite flavour.

One simply wrote “WHAT” while another said “off to Aldi I go, my son absolutely loves these.”

Another commented: “About time, they’re the best in there.”

Not everyone was impressed though, many TikTokkers said that the Stawberry Delight chocs “are the worst flavour” and wanted to see other sweets like the Toffee Pennys.

Aldi is currently selling the pouches, as well as the full selection of Quality Street, for £2.49.

The favourites are only available to buy in store.

Other shops do sell the same product but for slightly more, such as Sainsbury’s and Iceland for £3 at both.

It appears that these special Strawberry Delight pouches are one of Aldis “special buys” which means they won’t be around for long.

Aldi’s special buys range are limited edition products that sadly don’t stay on shelves forever and they’re usually very popular.

Although these favourites bags may be available for longer at other retailers past the Christmas period.

We’ve asked Nestle if this will be the case and will add to this article when we have more details.

It’s good news for fans of the other flavours too because pouches of The Purple One and The Golden Selection are also available at some retailers.

The golden chocs are only available at Tesco, but are sold out at the moment, so keep your eyes peeled when they’re back in stock.

We also found the purple sweets at Sainsbury’s but they also are sold out currently.

This isn’t the first time shoppers have been able to buy individual bags or tins of their favourite Quality Streets.

John Lewis brought back its popular Quality Street pick and mix pop-up at 18 stores across the country earlier this year.

Chocolate lovers can customise their tubs and only fill it with their favourite flavour.

If you bring a tin from home, it will cost you less at £10 – but it needs to be a former John Lewis exclusive Quality Street tin.

There’s also an option to personalise the lid for £17, and pre-filled tins cost £12.

There’s a 330g Quality Street cracker you can fill too for £5.

There are 12 sweets to choose from including:

You can get Quality Street chocs for cheaper elsewhere – but you won’t be able to choose your flavours, and tins might be smaller.

Tesco is selling a giant 871g Quality Street tins for just £6 in stores and online – the cheapest deal for this size.

B&M is currently selling 650g tubs for £4 – or 62p per 100g.

We’ve rounded up the cheapest places to buy the chocolate treats this week here.
