MCDONALD’S is giving children free carrots on Christmas Eve.
Families will be able to collect their free carrots to leave out for Father Christmas and his reindeer.
McDonalds reindeer treats – carrots
McDonald’s has previously given out the freebies over the Christmas period, and this year is no exception – but they are only available while stock lasts.
Bags of carrot sticks are usually 99p – which means you’ll be saving yourself just under a quid to keep Rudolph and his pals happy.
All you need to do is head to one of its more than 1,270 restaurants in the UK.
You won’t need to buy anything to qualify for your free carrots.
The free carrots will be available all day on Christmas Eve (December 24).
Those wanting one will be offered one carrot bag per child.
You can use McDonald’s store locator tool to see where your nearest branch is.
The freebie is part of McDonald’s #ReindeerReady campaign, where families can download free activities on the chain’s website.
Something that is new this year, from the fast food giant, is an audiobook read by celeb Jamie Rekdnapp.
The festive story, read by Jamie, is available to download for free via McDonald’s UK Instagram page
McDonald’s isn’t the only store giving away free carrots for Rudolph and his friends.
Morrisons is giving away free vegetables for shoppers getting in the festive spirit.
Shoppers will be able to collect their free carrot on December 22 or 23 at Morrisons stores.
But it might be worth going early on December 22 to ensure you get a carrot for Santa’s reindeer.
Tesco also announced that it’s offering children the same chance to get free carrots.
Free carrots are available to collect from today (December 20) until Christmas Eve.
Shoppers can pick up the magical reindeer’s favourite Christmas snack for free, without needing to make a purchase.
