Meet the newest member of Bachelor Nation! Tia Booth and her fiancé, Taylor Mock, have given fans sweet glimpses of life with their son, Tatum.
The ABC alum, who appeared on season 22 of The Bachelor in 2018, announced her pregnancy two months after Mock proposed in April 2022. Booth’s June 2022 pregnancy reveal included an emotional tribute to her late father, who died after a battle with colon cancer.
“This has undoubtedly been my most challenging season thus far,” the Bachelor in Paradise alum captioned a black-and-white photo from her maternity shoot via Instagram. “I’ve never felt such overwhelming sadness and pure joy at the same time. It’s been difficult to be grateful for the good as if one of the most important people in my life is missing the celebration.”
She continued: “While I wish I could tell my dad all the good news in person, it brings me peace that he knows about it long before I do. Welcoming a new little life while mourning the loss of another proves that high emotions can exist simultaneously, and I have no doubt my dad had a hand in this. Happy heavenly Father’s Day to the first man I ever loved and Happy soon-to-be Father’s Day to my forever.”
Booth and Mock went public with their romance in October 2021. Shortly before announcing that she was expecting a baby with her soon-to-be husband, the physiotherapist gave Us Weekly an exclusive update on their wedding planning process.
“We haven’t had to do much so far, which is nice. I’m not really in the thick of it yet,” she told Us in June 2022. “We still don’t have a venue — don’t have it, like, set in stone, but once I have that, then I’ll have a date. Then, I can choose vendors and then it’ll really get rolling. So fingers crossed it all works out. … I’m hoping for late October, early November [2023].”
Throughout her pregnancy, the Arkansas native kept her fans up to date on her progress, often sharing photos of her growing baby bump. In December 2022, she and Mock welcomed their baby boy.
“Tatum Booth Mock 12/6/22 6:13 a.m.,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Best day of our lives.”
Fellow Bachelor Nation alums were quick to congratulate the couple on their bundle of joy. “TIAAAAAAA ! Congrats mamaaa & papa sooo happy for you this audio God is so good!” Natasha Parker gushed in the comments, while season 22’s Jenna Cooper added, “Congrats y’all!love his name, it’s perfect!”
Becca Kufrin chimed in: “He’s here! Can’t wait to spoil that lil man, he has the best parents with you and Tay! Sending all three of you my love .”
Booth went on to give her followers a tour of Tatum’s nursery after posting a series of black-and-white family photos. “Feel like I’ve known him forever,” the new mom raved via Instagram in December 2022.
