WINNINGS Sips has been brought back for a second year running and there’s plenty of prizes on offer.
McDonald’s customers can win festival tickets, free food items and up to £10,000 in cash.

The game launched in March and all you have to do is buy a medium or large drink to play.
If you’ve won a prize, you might be wondering how to redeem it though, and what the prizes actually are.
Here’s everything you need to know.
How do you redeem McDonald’s Winning Sips prizes?
How you redeem any prize in the Winning Sips game depends on what type you’ve won.
The full details are on the McDonald’s website, but here’s a rough breakdown.
Food voucher prizes won by playing a game piece with an app code are automatically added to the “Offers” or “Rewards and Offers” section of your McDonald’s app where you can redeem them.
You can redeem them in-restaurant or via the app, however not via Uber Eats, Just Eat or Deliveroo.
If you win a cash prize from an Instant Win on a game piece, the instructions on how to redeem it will be on the game piece.
The cash prize is then transferred to via Bacs – a bank-to-bank transfer.
If a Bac transfer cannot be made, a cheque will be sent to the address you enter on your completed prize claim form.
If you win a cash prize via the McDonald’s app, the money will be transferred to you via Bacs, and if not via cheque.
Merchandize prizes are sent to you via post to the address you fill in on the prize claim form.
Festival ticket prizes are sent to you via email, app, or you may have to collect them on site at the festival.
How do you play Winning Sips?
Any customer who buys a selected medium or large drink from McDonald’s can peel the sticker on the cup.
Stickers, also known as “game pieces”, contain either an Instant Win prize or App Play game piece.
Instant Win pieces provide either a food or cash prize which in most cases can be redeemed in your nearest restaurant or via the McDonald’s app.
If you don’t get an Instant Win prize, you will receive a code you can use to play on the McDonald’s app again.
Any codes received and entered into the app see you given a “Bubble”.
Claims seven Bubbles and you get 1,500 Reward Points which can redeemed for another medium drink, or used for another purchase.
The last day to claim any prizes you’ve won, whether they be food or non-food, is April 30.
Where do I enter the McDonald’s Winning Sips code in the app?
You can only enter a Winning Sips code via the McDonald’s app and not through the fast food chain’s website.
There are two ways to enter the code via the app:
You can scan the code from your game piece
You can manually enter the 12-digit code
What are the McDonald’s Winning Sips Prizes?
For the instant win prize, you can win cash prizes up to £100, as well as free items from the McDonald’s menu.
With an App Play game piece customers can scan the code for another chance to win.
