MANCHESTER CITY got off to the dream start in their Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid thanks to a freak goal.
Just over a minute into the game, Bernardo Silva scored as he caught goalkeeper Andriy Lunin out from a free-kick.

Silva whipped his free-kick towards the near post and beyond the Ukrainian’s grasp.
The unusual goal stunned the Santiago Bernabeu into silence.
TNT Sports commentator Ally McCoist slammed Lunin, saying: “I ain’t having the goalkeeper.”
Meanwhile, fans commented: “He should NEVER be allowed to get beaten from there.”
Another added: “That was a horrible mistake.”
However, the Treble winners joy was short-lived as Real Madrid hit back with two quick goals to make it 2-1 in the 12th and 14th minute.
Eduardo Camavinga’s long-range shot took a deflection and flew into the back of the net to equalise.

Then they went ahead as Rodrygo powered away from the City defence and finished beyond Stefan Ortega.
Lunin is playing ahead of on loan Chelsea star Kepa Arrizzabalaga.
Both were in contention as No1 Thibaut Courtois remains out injured.
The Belgian international needs a second surgery on his knee after already rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament earlier this season.
