Hemsworth shared some of the moments on his Instagram alongside a heartfelt caption.

The caption began: “When I was younger, my family and I lived in a remote community in the Northern Territory.”

“Some of my earliest and happiest memories are from that time. Now, 35 years later I’ve been lucky enough to take a trip back there,” he continued.

Hemsworth also made a surprise visit on his way to Bulman for the second series of his documentary Limitless

“My earliest memories were on the cattle stations up in the Outback,” Chris told journalist Frank Lovece in 2011.

“And then we moved back to Melbourne and then back out there and then back again,” he added.

“Probably my most vivid memories were up there in Bulman with crocodiles and buffalo,” he said. “Very different walks of life.”

Hemsworth now lives in Byron Bay with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their children: daughter India, 10, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, eight.
