He has come under criticism for the 30-year age gap between them with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship star Perry the latest to take exception.

Perry, 32, told TMZ Sports: “Jake Paul, man. If he hurts Mike Tyson, bro, let me get that.

“He’s not doing bare-knuckle, but I wouldn’t put it past Jake Paul because he’s been doing stuff that people would say he’s afraid of and things like that.

“That’s partly what drew me to bare-knuckle was that so many were worried about it or afraid of it. I’m like, ‘It seems real to me.’

“So Jake, man, definitely issuing you a challenge. If you get through Mike Tyson, test yourself for real and let’s have a street fight.”

Paul is 9-1 as a boxer, suffering his only defeat last year to Tommy Fury, 24, before bouncing back with three straight wins.

Tyson meanwhile retired in 2005 officially but did return in 2020 to draw over eight exhibition rounds with fellow great Roy Jones Jr.

Perry made his name in the UFC but crossed over to bare-knuckle boxing in 2022 and is now 4-0 with exposed fists.

But he has eyed a switch to boxing and has even signed on to be a replacement opponent for Paul and brother Logan before.

Perry and Paul have sparred before and the ex-UFC welterweight admitted the social media sensation has shown talent in the ring.

He said: “F*** Jake, he’s got some but I’d like to say I’m beating him as fast as he’s beating these taxi drivers, especially bare-knuckle.

“I’ll hurt him and he’ll cry and run away and cower in the corner in the fetal position.”
