TIGER WOODS will make his comeback at the Masters next month.

The 15-time major winner’s last competitive appearance was at the Genesis Invitational in February.

However, his comeback was short-lived as he withdrew because of illness after just six holes of the second round.

As the 48-year-old steps up his recovery from ankle surgery last year, it has been revealed he will play at Augusta from April 8 to 14.

Woods was included in a list of players taking to the fairway on the event’s official website.

The legendary American has won the event five times.

He last wore the Green Jacket in 2019, 22 years after his first victory in Georgia.

Woods made a return to Augusta in 2022 – coming 47th – just 14 months after nearly losing his leg in a car crash.

He walked around the course with a limp as he had not fully recovered from his severe injuries.

It led to him requiring further surgery, but Woods is now “not concerned at all” by walking.

Disaster also struck last year as he pulled out in the third round citing back pain.

Woods has vowed to play in one tournament a month this year.

And he has previously said he would not compete if he felt he did not have a genuine chance of winning.

But he faces tough competition with Scottie Scheffler the favourite, with Rory McIlroy and John Rahm also in with a shout.
