Brits can already start looking forward to next summer thanks to extra seats being added to popular destinations like Tenerife, Lanzarote, Corfu, Antalya and Palma.

The new flights will take off from regional airports like Exeter, Bournemouth and East Midlands.

London Gatwick and London Stansted will also benefit from additional seats too.

Exeter Airport

Thanks to an additional aircraft, Exeter Airport will see an extra 80,000 seats, with existing routes like Tenerife, Lanzarote, Antalya, Heraklion (Crete), Paphos and Rhodes seeing increased capacity.

From summer 2025, TUI is set to operate a new route from Exeter Airport to Brit-favourite Ibiza.

Bournemouth Airport

Bournemouth Airport will also see a further 15,000 seats added onto routes heading to Kefalonia, Paphos, Rhodes, Heraklion, Corfu and Mahon (Menorca).

East Midlands Airport

New routes will operate between East Midlands Airport and Burgas, Bulgaria as well as Boa Vista in Cape Verde.

Birmingham Airport

TUI will also add an additional 70,000 seats to some of its routes to and from Birmingham Airport, with destinations like daily to Antalya, Dalaman, Palma, Bourgas and Paphos set to benefit.

The airline will also increase its capacity to Rhodes, with six services operating each week.

London Gatwick

In 2025, a new route will operate between London Gatwick and Porto, aiming to support TUI’s River Cruise Programme.

TUI will also provide exclusive routes from Gatwick to places like Boa vista, Jerez, Costa Brava, Costa Dorada, Kavala, La Palma, Lamezia Terme, Orlando-Melbourne Florida, Montego Bay, Porto Santo, Sal and Samos.

Stansted Airport

A new route will also be in operation between London Stansted Airport and Enfidha, Tunisia.

Exclusive flights will also operate from the London Airport to Sharm el Sheikh, meaning the airport will have 33 weekly flights to 14 destinations with TUI.

Luton Airport

TUI will also introduce a new route from London Luton to Paphos to support the Marella Cruises programme.

Newcastle Airport

Newcastle Airport will also see an extra 30,000 TUI seats in 2025, with increased frequency to Kos, Palma and Dalaman.

TUI UK and Ireland managing director, Andrew Flintham, said: “Our customers want more flexibility in departing airports, destinations and holiday durations, and this programme for summer 2025 shows our continued commitment to making it easier for customers to book the holiday that’s right for them.

“The additions are across 19 regional airports from Glasgow to Bournemouth, with customers being able to fly on more Tui holidays from their local airport than ever before.”

TUI isn’t the only airline launching brand-new routes from the UK to holiday hotspots in Europe.

Ryanair’s new routes

Earlier this week, the budget airline launched three new routes from Norwich Airport to holiday hotspots across Europe.

Brit holidaymakers in East Anglia can now fly to Alicante, Faro and Malta.

The flights will operate on both Mondays and Fridays, making these routes an ideal choice for a long weekend away.

The low-cost airline has also launched new flights from Cardiff Airport to Alicante.

EasyJet’s new routes

The UK’s second city is also getting a load more budget flights this year, with easyJet launching 16 new routes.

From this summer, the airline will fly to Barcelona, Malaga, Alicante, Fuerteventura and Tenerife.

Other new routes are set to include Antalya and Dalaman in Turkey, as well as other destinations in Greece like Rhodes, Kos, Heraklion and Corfu.

They will also operate flights to Berlin, Sharm El Sheikh, Larnaca Intl and Jersey.

Meanwhile, this airline has the best economy seats in the world – and passengers can even book private beds.
