CORRIE star Jack P Shepherd is best known to fans as down-to-earth lad David Platt on the ITV soap.
However, off-screen, he’s been spotted in a couple of very impressive motors in recent years – including a rather iconic Ford.

Back in 2020, Jack showed off his flashy side as he took his £41,000 Mustang 5.0 V8 to a Sainsbury’s supermarket near his base in Manchester.
The actor, 36, took the luxury set of wheels to the shops as he stocked up on weekly groceries amid the pandemic.
Months later, in November, the black muscle car was brutally clamped outside his home, with a red sticker on the driver’s window that warned not to remove the yellow clamp on the front left wheel.
According to the Council’s website, the release charge at the time was £40 as well as a further £25 or £35 penalty charge notice.
Then, in 2021, the Birmingham Mail reported that Jack was forced to abandoned his sporty motor after it ran out of petrol amid the fuel crisis at the time.
Speaking on the incident, he said: “My car is at work, I’ve got no fuel. It’s gone.
“I’ve turned up to petrol stations and there’s queues and I’m like, ‘Oh, they’ve got fuel.’
“I get out and I’m like, ‘Petrol?’ I might as well have said, ‘Egyptian artefacts.’
“They just look at me like I’m insane for asking if there’s any petrol.
“You can get diesel, but I can’t find petrol anywhere.”
According to Drive, the monstrous Mustang – which is the longest-produced Ford car nameplate – can hit a top speed of 155 mph and goes from 0-62 mph in just 4.3 seconds thanks its giant 5038cc engine boasting eight-cylinders.
Jack hasn’t just been spotted in the fast Ford though, as he’s also been spotted in a gorgeous Maserati.
He was seen in the driver’s seat of the £50,000 sports car back in 2017, with OK! snapping him on his way through Manchester’s city centre.
He was also pictured parking the Ghibli motor outside the ITV studios.
The gorgeous Italian whip is certainly no slouch, capable of reaching up to 177 mph with a 0-60 acceleration coming in under five seconds.
It’s unclear if Jack still owns the Ghibli, as he hasn’t been spotted with it since late 2017.
In a recent interview, Jack joked that his favourite car is in fact Brum – the adorable little car from the 1990s British children’s television series.
Later, in the same On the Sofa Cinema Club podcast interview, he was asked: “What’s your dream car? Any advances on Brum?”
As he ran through his favourite motors, Jack revealed a taste for the classics.
He said: “It was always a Mustang… but like a 69 or 68.
“Those Miami Vice Ferraris, a Delorean.”
Jack isn’t the only Coronation Street star with a taste for flashy whips – as fellow actor Simon Gregson has also boasted a host of brilliant cars including a golden oldie Porsche.
Elsewhere, a petrolhead has incredibly discovered two iconic British motors abandoned at the side of the road.
