In the clip, she begins by saying that she’s received some support from fans, but said “there are some people who just LOVE to talk when it comes to dating after your spouse passes away”.
”I’ll start by saying, unless you are a widow or a widower, you truly have absolutely no place and no right to comment on this because you do not know what it’s like,” she said.
“You don’t understand the incredibly complex, difficult and dynamic thoughts and feelings that come up… when it crosses your mind to even think about starting to date again you feel guilty, shamed, horrible, you also feel lonely, so you want to do it.”

Rizzo said she had support from Saget’s daughters and friends to start dating again an that she didn’t start dating until at least 18 months after his death.
“It’s not your place to judge because everyone goes through it differently, and it is very personal, and whether somebody moves on a month after or 10 years after, it does not diminish or takeaway from the love and the relationship that you had with your partner,” she explained.
Just a month ago, Rizzo confirmed her new romance with Clueless star Breckin Meyer at the Grammys viewing party on February 4.
Rumours of the couple’s romance began swirling after they attended a red carpet hand-in-hand for a Janie’s Fund charity event.
The Eat Travel Rock host says that despite being ready to confirm her relationship with Meyer, 49, at the Grammys party, she told E! News that it took a while to be ready.
The Full House star passed away unexpectedly in 2022, whilst at a hotel in Florida. Rolling Stone later reported that his death was the result of an accidental head injury.
“It took a while,” Rizzo told E!, “to get to the point where I’m like, ‘OK, I think he’d be happy with it.'”
