British actress Kate Beckinsale has revealed she’s been hospitalised in pictures shared from her hospital bed.
The Underworld star, 50, shared a tribute post to her mother Judy to mark Mother’s day in the UK, thanking her mum for looking after her.

“And for looking after our dogs when we can’t, and lead us to remember happy things when we can’t. And turn up when we are sick and sit with us… And send balloons and check in and pull us out of wells with love.”
Beckinsale added: “Happy everything mama. Your fight for joy despite also welcoming tears is the experience of watching a warrior up close. I love you x.”
Fans flooded the comments section of her post to send their well-wishes to the star.

“Such a sweet post for your mama. I pray for your recovery, whatever it is you may be going through Kate,” one follower wrote.
Another added: “What on earth are you doing in hospital Kate?”.
In recent weeks, Beckinsale and her mother Judy Loe have been mourning the loss of her stepfather, Loe’s late husband Roy Battersby, a British TV director who died aged 87 on January 10.
Beckinsale previously lashed out at BAFTA after being told the charity “could not guarantee” her late stepfather’s inclusion in its awards ceremony‘s ”in memoriam” tribute.
Shortly after, BAFTA confirmed Battersby would be honoured in a ceremony and online.
Battersby was known for his work on the likes of Between The Lines and Inspector Morse.
Beckinsale announced her stepfather’s death on January 10.
“It is with great sorrow that the family of film and television director Roy Battersby announce the news of his recent death after a brief period of illness,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
