And let’s not forget the January sales too.

So to help out a little the tech giant has a nifty price tracker.

It’ll alert you whenever the cost of something you’re interested in changes.

You can choose to receive a notification via email or on mobile via Chrome.

There’s one slight snag – it’s only available in the US for the moment.

Hopefully it’ll roll out to other countries soon.

The feature has been available on Chrome for Android for sometime.

But in this latest expansion, Google has rolled it out to desktop as well.

So here’s how you use it.

How to set up price tracking on Google Chrome

From Google Chrome, visit the web page of the item you wish to track.

at the top right in the address bar Track Price should appear.

Click this, followed by Done to confirm.

Note that if you’re already tracking a product’s price, the message says Tracking Price instead.

To manage the stuff you’re keeping an eye on, click the side panel button in the top right – the one of a square next to your profile photo.

Tap the down arrow then choose Bookmarks.

You should see Tracked Products in the list.

Select any you wish to stop tracking.

Alternatively, you can control tracking from the notifications you receive directly.
