‘I was in heaven’ declares Love Island star on hunt to buy glitzy classic car in LA… but haters say ‘it’s a BAD idea’

A LOVE Island star who went on a classic car hunt in Los Angeles compared one showroom to “heaven”.

Reality star Eyal Booker recently flew out to America to try and buy a brand-new motor for himself.

Eyal was eyeing to buy a classic Mercedes – and ended up in a showroom packed with some classic motors.

And looking at all the amazing cars, the TV star said he was in heaven.

In a TikTok video, Eyel gave a tour of the showroom to his fans – and showed them some of the best pics including Ford Mustangs, Corvette Stingrays, Ferraris, Jaguars and Triumphs.

However, the reality star, who was looking for a Mercedes SL from the 1980s, said he could not find the right one.

“None of them were right sadly but I felt like I was in heaven. So the search continues,” the star said in the video.

Though Eyal said he was impressed with one of the Porsches classics parked in the showroom, he quickly admitted he could not afford one just yet.

While fans were thrilled to see Eyal’s car shopping in LA, some users suggested buying an old SL is a bad idea – and he should not have gone all the way to America looking for one.

One such fan said: “The American-style SLs just don’t do it for me, those headlights and bumpers are so ugly.”

Eyal appeared on Love Island in 2018 and on Love Island Games last year.

Last year, he put out a TikTok video saying he had not been socialising with pals from the show for personal reasons.

Eyal said that his dad, a diabetic, went to the hospital to have a toe amputated.

“I’m going to keep this short and sweet but to be honest, it’s not short and sweet,” the star said speaking about the situation.

“To answer this question, the day I was going into Love Island games my dad was going in for an operation to have his toe amputated.

“He’s diabetic, he has been since he was 10 years old, but his diabetes finally caught up with him.”

The catwalk star described how there were further medical complications.

He added: “They let me know that my dad’s operation, which was initially successful, was unsuccessful and he’ll need to have his leg amputated.

“At that point, I thought ‘What the f*** I just need to get home’, I need to get back to London.”
