Major supermarket slashes price of Ben & Jerry’s cookie flavour to £2.75 a tub as shoppers cry ‘there’s nothing left’

ASDA have slashed the price of a Ben & Jerry’s cookie flavour to just £2.75 a tub.

Shoppers could not believe that the sweet treat was on sale for such a bargain price at the major supermarket.

The savvy shopper was thrilled with his buy and quickly took to social media to show off his loot.

Taking to the Facebook group, Last Deals, Extreme Couponing and Bargains, he revealed the bargains at Asda.

He revealed that Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Vermonst-ster 427ml tubs were reduced from £5.50 to £2.75.

And for those who can’t make it to their local, the tasty treat is also reduced to the same price in the online Asda store.

The massive deduction saw shoppers wanting to snap up the deal for themselves.

One bemoaned: “All sold out on the first day.”

While another happy customer said: “I grabbed some yesterday.”

The savvy shopper also hinted how Lurpak goods had also seen massive redutions.

A 400g tub of Lurpak spreadable has been reduced by £3.75 all the way to £1.87.

Meanwhile, a number of Easter Eggs at Asda have been reduced to 60p from original prices of £1.25 and £1.50.

Some of the goodies included in the deal are: Cadbury Dairy Milk Freddo 96g, Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons Chocolate Easter Egg 98g and Cadbury Mini Eggs 97g.

The Milkybar White Chocolate Egg 65g, Bluey Milk Chocolate Easter Egg and Bar 62g, and Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel Nibbles 86g have also been reduced to 60p.

Shoppers can only buy the cheaper eggs – most of which are hollow and contain smaller treats, such as Mini Eggs, Freddo heads, and Caramel Nibbles – in store.

Asda is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking to buy Easter Eggs in bulk .

The supermarket chain has a four-for-£10 deal on Cadbury Crunchie, Creme Egg, and Twirl flavour eggs eggs and a number of others.
