She plays the role of Amy Wyatt, who recently fled the village with her and Cain’s son Kyle.

As usual with soaps, they film weeks – and sometimes months in advance.

And Natalie told Lorraine Kelly they’re now filming Spring episodes, after the presenter asked if she’d get time off for Christmas.

“We’re filming now, we’re nearly up to February I think, we’re right through January,” she revealed.

Coronation Street and Emmerdale axed tonight as soap schedule chaos continues

“Do you have to do plastic daffodils and the plastic snowdrops,” joked Lorraine, intrigued about how they pretend to be in different seasons.

Jamieson appeared to confirm soap bosses do in fact use plastic flowers on the set.

“When the spring flowers pop up they’ve had to make that happen somehow,” said Natalie.

Her character Amy will soon return to the village with Kyle as it still remains a secret that the youngster is responsible for Al Chapman’s death.

But concerns will be raised when Kyle does return to Emmerdale as he’s haunted over Al’s killing.

In the barn, Kyle makes a memorial for Al, clearly tormented by what he did.

The following day, Matty finds a collection of rocks placed in the middle of the barn and it’s clear to him Kyle is creating a memorial for the late businessman.

Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV.
