Is there a rematch clause in Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou?

ANTHONY JOSHUA steps into the ring for one of the biggest fights of his career in Saudi Arabia TONIGHT.

The two-time heavyweight champion will face former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in a mouth-watering crossover clash.

Ngannou, 37, may have lost his professional boxing debut against lineal champ Tyson Fury but stunned the world by sending the Gypsy King sprawling to the canvas.

That ferocious punch – and overall performance in a fight that many believed he won – landed Ngannou a shot at Joshua in what will be another money-spinning night in Riyadh.

This fight is full of jeopardy for Joshua, who is aiming for a shot at the winner of another blockbuster fight – Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk, which takes place on May 18.

But will the loser of this fight have an automatic shot at redemption?

Is there a rematch clause for Joshua vs Ngannou?

Unfortunately for the loser of this fight, there is NOT an automatic rematch clause written into the contract.

Eddie Hearn confirmed the news when the fight was announced.
