Micah Richards reveals toilet mishap he suffered while live on Sky Sports as Jamie Carragher admits ‘it didn’t go well…’

MICAH RICHARDS hilariously revealed that he got stuck in the toilet during his last appearance on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.

The two pundits were working alongside Thierry Henry and host Kate Abdo for the coverage of the Champions League on Tuesday night.

It came just 24 hours after Carragher and Henry both featured on Sky’s MNF coverage of Arsenal’s 6-0 thumping of Sheffield United.

Carragher and Richards shared banter as they discussed how the show had a different feel to Sky’s Sunday coverage, where the former Manchester City defender often appears.

Presenter Abdo jokingly stirred up trouble when she asked: “Some of us have been working together. Have you been invited to MNF yet, Micah?”

The former Liverpool man chimed in that Monday’s show was “award-winning”, but Richards said that he worked Sundays, which has a “bigger audience”.

Carragher added: “It’s a different type of show, Kate.”

He was pressed to explain the comment, and after the panel roared with laughter, the 46-year-old said: “It’s a more tactical look at the game, shall we say? A bit more technical.”

Abdo,42, replied: “I say get him on”, to which Carragher said: “He’s been on. It didn’t go well.”

Richards responded: “When I got stuck in the toilet?” which triggered more hysterics from Carragher and the rest of the team.

CBS has shot to popularity thanks to the infectiously charismatic panel and Abdo as host.

Fans recently joked that Henry was left devastated with the presenter’s wedding announcement.

Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe’s two goals made sure Paris Saint Germain secured their place in the quarter-finals with a 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad.

Harry Kane’s brace saw Bayern Munich win 3-0 and advance to the next round after losing 1-0 in the first leg to Lazio.
