Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards have welcomed a new addition to their family.

The couple, who met on The Bachelor back in 2013, have introduced their new daughter to their Instagram followers in a series of beautiful pictures.

“It’s been a BIG few days with a few speed bumps to test us out but coming up for air and can now introduce you to RUBY ROBARDS!” the couple wrote in their post.

“Mum and Ruby are doing well now, Dad has a few more greys (which will miraculously turn brown intermittently, and Elle is being an unbelievable big sister and even better midwife,” they said.

“Hearts are full ❤️ Thank you to eeeeveryone (sic) at the hospital who has helped! The docs and nurses here have all been beyond amazing and we are forever grateful.”

The couple shared pictures from hospital – including a shot of little Ruby wrapped in her hospital blanket and another image of the pair with daughters Ruby and Elle, three.

It comes after chiropractor turned actor Robards, 41, told 9Honey Parenting about the idea of becoming a father-of-two.

“To be honest, it feels a little bit like we’re just getting ready for a storm that’s about to hit,” he said just weeks ago.

He said he was feeling a bit of “stress and anxiety” after being given a lot of warning about what’s to come.

“Everyone we speak to just says how much harder it is compared to one, so I feel like a whole lot of work is coming.”

“I know how much energy my daughter needs, she’s like a hurricane, [so] I need a lot of energy… and now we’re going to go with two of them, I’m going to need twice the energy.”

He added that Elle was “really excited” about the prospect of becoming a big sister.

“She’s got a good mothering instinct, she takes after her mum a lot, she’s such a girl’s girl, has got a lot of energy but she’s very caring at the same time,” he said.
