And it’s sure to be in the running for KO of the Year.

With just 26 seconds of the fight left, Oliveira and Sopaj went toe-to-toe in the octagon.

Each man was desperate to win before the bell went.

And Sopaj made the first move by throwing a jab.

But at the same time, he was caught by a kick from Oliveira, knocking him off balance.

Oliveira then hit Sopaj with a hook, sending his opponent staggering.

The Albanian made the deadly error of partially turning his back.

And Oliveira, sensing blood, went in for the kill.

As Sopaj prepared to turn and face him, the Brazilian flew forward before leaping into the air and kneeing him in the chin.

The heavy impact sent Sopaj sprawling to the ground, ending the clash instantly.

And fans were left hailing Oliveira’s amazing move.

One said: “Oliveira with one of the most sickening flying knee KO’s I’ve ever seen.”

Another declared: “You gotta retire after getting knocked out like this.”

One noted: “Watched it live, unbelievable.”

Another added: “KO of the year so far.”

The result saw Oliveira extend his pro MMA record to 20-3-0.

It was his first-ever match with UFC, having appeared on the Contender Series last year.

And he will be hoping for more chances to prove himself in Dana White’s organisation.
