In a behind the scenes video posted to X, Marc gave fans a taste of things to come for Wheeler Dealers as he describes his experience behind the wheel of a McLaren supercar.

In the clip, with Marc sat inside the blue motor, he said: “This is a weapon, an absolute weapon.”

In response to Marc’s excitement, Mike’s wife Michelle – who’s filming the clip – asks him: “why it’s so special?”

Marc said: “It’s got so much power, so much torque, and the track is not long enough… you run out of track long before you run out of the capabilities of the car and that is a very special feeling to have.”

Clearly emotional, Michelle says Marc’s “had a moment” before asking him how fast he got up to.

Cheekily, he responds: “For endurance purposes, 99.8mph.”

Later, in his own post to X, Marc posted a picture of his driver’s eye-view from behind the steering wheel, with a simple caption reading: “Today was a good day.”

Marc is famously well acquainted with McLaren machinery, having previously worked with the brand’s Formula 1 team from 1999 until 2009 – which saw him link up with the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso.

Wheeler Dealers’ Mike Brewer shares agonising update on stolen Ford Fiesta

Mike Brewer has updated fans on the plight of his stolen Ford Fiesta.

He and Marc restored the MkI car themselves, spending over £11,000 on it before it was pinched in June 2023.

Asked on X if he had any luck in tracking it down, he replied: “Fiesta still stolen.

“If it’s recovered, which I very much doubt now I would shout about it on social media.”

The presenter even offered a £5,000 reward for those who could help him recover the beloved car.

Meanwhile, fellow Wheeler Dealer Mike revealed details of the upcoming series in his own social media post, saying the show will document the team’s global travels as they hunt down some of the best and most interesting cars on the planet.

Mike teased that this would include a build of a McLaren P1 – which is possibly the motor Marc sat behind the wheel of.

That particular car is worth in excess of £1million and similar models have been known to sell for as much as £14million.

It comes after we gave fans a look inside former presenter Edd China’s whacky car collection – including his driveable sofa.

Marc has a tasty collection of motors himself, which includes a classic Mercedes he’s described as his “dream car.”
