On Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie, Ritchie probed Laroi on his plans with the South Sydney NRL team.

While he will miss the team’s round one match against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in Las Vegas this Sunday, Laroi explained that he hopes to make it for a post-match catch up.
“I wish I going [to the game] but I’m going to be in Malaysia,” he said.
“They said they’re going to stay for one extra day, so I’m going to go down to Vegas and hang out for a bit if I can.”

A diehard Souths fan, Laroi was stoked to link up with the players who are currently based in San Diego for the 2024 NRL Premiership.
He recently met up in Vegas with the Rabbitohs’ Cody Walker and Jai Arrow who hit it off.
“They came to the studio and we had a good time,” Kid Laroi told Fitzy, Wippa and Ritchie.
“I was giving them spots to go out here because they were pretty keen to hit the town.”

Piping up after he shared his plans with the footy boys, Ritchie felt called to share some “motherly advice”.
“I feel somewhat responsible,” Ritchie said.
“I’m listening to you say that you’re gong to fly back and spend the last night with the Rabbitohs in Vegas…. abort mission!”
