The clip was posted on social media by Lily’s mum Jess and shows the youngster standing on stage in her school uniform and two cute plaits.

“People ask me all the time what I want to be when I grow up – a doctor? A teacher? But no, I want to be a singer like Taylor Swift,” she begins.

Lily shares some fun facts about Swift, including her age, number of cats and most recent albums, before diving into the important stuff.

“Now I’m going to tell you about my five favourite songs. My first favourite is Lover, I like Lover because I like love hearts,” she recites.

“My second favourite is Shake It Off, I like Shake It Off because I like shaking my body.”

Sweet Nothings took out the third spot, followed by August – because Lily’s birthday is in August – and Mastermind.

Lily then revealed to the crowd that her mum Jess waited in line for 10 whole hours just to get them tickets to Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour.

“I can’t wait! I hope when I grow up I can be a singer like Taylor Swift,” she finishes.

The video amassed hundreds of thousands of views and in the days leading up to Swift’s third Sydney show, Jess posted a callout in the hopes of getting Lily noticed by the singer’s team.

At every Eras Tour show they choose a fan from the crowd to stand by the stage during Swift’s performance of 22 and share a special moment with the singer.

During a break in the performance, the singer will crouch down and offer the fan the hat from her Red era costume, usually in exchange for a handmade friendship bracelet.

“How good would the 22 hat look on the five-year-old who won her zone public speaking competition with her speech about Taylor Swift?” Jess wrote on TikTok before the show.
