CHELSEA’S Conor Gallagher’s brother Dan may not be a household name like his brother.
But the 26-year-old non-league footballer is making his own way in the game with National League side Dorking Wanderers.

Dan’s journey in football began in the youth ranks of AFC Wimbledon, where he was handed a scholarship as the club rose through the ranks of the EFL.
Despite dropping into non-league football first on loan to Kingstonian and then permanently with Leatherhead Gallagher continued to pursue his hopes of entering the professional game.
Football runs in the family for the Gallagher brothers with older twins Jake and Josh also carving out careers in the sport.
Jake and Josh currently play for and manage Isthmian South Central side Raynes Park Vale.
While Conor has shined this term on Mauricio Pochettino‘s side at Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Dan after joining Leatherhead in July 2017 then moved to Dorking Wanderers in August 2019.
The iconic club have won twelve promotions in their first 23 seasons reaching the National League in 2022.
And in 2023 after signing Tony Craig from Crawley Dan excelled in his new as a defensive midfielder becoming a vital player for the team and earning a spot in the England C provisional squad.
He would go on to be honoured with the Manager’s Player of the Year award for the 22/23 season.
Looking back on the Gallagher’s upbringing older brother Josh said in 2020: “Mum and Dad never forced us to do anything.
“They saw our passion for football and supported us as we pursued our dreams.
“Dan and Conor had that little edge that helped them push further than we did.
“They had a better understanding of the game and how to navigate the ups and downs that come with it.”
With a strong family support system and a love for the game, Dan Gallagher continues to make a name for himself in non-league football.
