Taylor Swift fans queue for hours at Accor Stadium for merchandise ahead of her first Sydney show

Taylor Swift is days away from thrilling fans on her Eras Tour with four sold-out shows in Sydney.

Ahead of Friday’s show, some dedicated Swifties have waited hours outside of Accor Stadium at Sydney Olympic Park to buy some of the singer’s merchandise before it all sells out.

Items including jumpers, T-shirts, tour posters, tote bags and bracelets were all on offer on Wednesday.

A friendship bracelet was selling for $50, while a canvas tapestry was selling for $55.

Just a week ago, dedicated Taylor Swift fans spent hours lining up at Crown Melbourne’s pop-up merchandise store to secure the goods.

Belle, together with her mum Jackie, stayed at Crown overnight to ensure they were first in line at 7am.

Many already knew what they wanted, including Belle who told 9honey she had her eye on the Quarter Zip Pullover and Tour Hoodie.

“I really love Taylor Swift. She’s my favourite person on the whole planet and I really wanted her merch,” she said.

Swift completed three shows in Melbourne at the MCG and is now in Sydney ahead of her four shows at Accor Stadium, which start on Friday.

Keen-eyed Sydney Swifties have noticed they’ve scored a freebie with their ticket.

The freebie isn’t listed when opening the ticket in your apple wallet – so you’re going to have to open it in the Ticketek app to have a look.

Right under your QR, you’ll notice in fine print right under the date and time that says “Ticket includes entry + return public transport.”

So if you’re heading to Accor stadium via the bus or train, we’ve got good news for you – you’re not going to have to pay.

Frontier Touring released the list of stadium rules (including details on exactly how to get to the concert) ahead of the Melbourne shows kicking off last weekend.

Tailgating (or Taylor-gating) is strictly prohibited at both venues, so if you didn’t get tickets your best bet is to stay at home and watch the Eras Tour Movie.

For all seven Taylor Swift The Eras Tour shows, the gates will open at 4:30pm.

The show will kick off at 6:20pm when the opening act, Sabrina Carpenter takes to the stage, and Taylor Swift will begin shortly after.

However, we suggest getting there earlier rather than later.

The times are subject to change without any notice, meaning that if a storm is going to hit toward the end of the show, it’s very likely that Swift could take to the stage early.

Frontier Touring has announced that while friendship bracelets are allowed at the show, they must be worn on your arms.

That means no carabiners or d-rings will be allowed to hold all the spare bracelets you may have made.

However, if you have space in you single allowed bag (check below for size requirements), you will be allowed to bring spare bracelets inside.

There is a strict one bag per person policy, and while it doesn’t have to be clear, it does have to be a certain size.

All bags must be no larger than an A4 piece of paper, so dimensions wise you need to make sure your bag is smaller than 30cm wide, 35cm high, and 20cm deep.

It must also have no more than two compartments, in or outside of the bag.

The one bag per person rule does not apply to anything purchased from the merchandise stands.
