Ramsay, 31, will become the youngest ever manager in the league’s history should he join Minnesota.

The Loons finished 11th in the 14-team Western Conference last season and Cameron Knowles is currently in interim charge.

Losing Ramsay will be a huge blow for Man Utd.

He has been referred to as the Red Devils’ “secret weapon” and he is a vital part of Erik ten Hag‘s backroom staff.

Ramsay joined United in 2021 in a player development and set-piece coaching role under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

But he was handed a bigger role following the arrival of Ralf Rangnick.

Ramsay is fluent Spanish and French, helping several new players settle in at Old Trafford.

The Welshman’s begun his career at Loughborough University, working alongside Kieran McKenna.

He then spent four years working in Swansea’s academy and then as a first-team coach at Shrewsbury.

Ramsay joined Chelsea in 2019 and worked with the Blues’ Under-23s.

He also became the youngest British coach to achieve the Uefa Pro Licence aged 27.

Meanwhile, Wales boss Rob Page labelled Ramsay “one of the best young coaches in football.”
