In his post with fans, Richert joked about ageing, writing: “When you wake up one morning and your arm doesn’t work at all so you go to the hospital and they think it’s a stroke.”

“So they keep you in there for two days, run all the tests, and then tell you you just slept wrong. 👍 #45,” he quipped.

“Ageing is just wonderful. Thank God you are okay though!” one follower commented underneath.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch was ’90s television at its finest, combining a sensational women-led cast with a fantastic plotline and plenty of laughs.

Richert made his acting debut as Sabrina’s boyfriend, Harvey Kinkle, in the hit series which ran from 1996 to 2003.

Richert stepped away from acting in recent years. Some of the latest credits to his name include the TV series Home Work in 2020 and before that a short in 2006.

He is a musician and has music on Spotify.

Richert has an impressive following and listening rate on Spotify, with one of his songs, The Girl I Haven’t Met, gaining over two million listens.

He revealed on Twitter in 2018 that he now works as a “maintenance man, a janitor, a carpenter,” to pay the bills.

He is married to Malorie Felt, who he tied the knot with in 2019. However, there were reports last year that the pair were divorcing after four years of marriage.

His former co-star Melissa Joan Hart meanwhile became America’s sweetheart of the ’90s thanks to the show.

During a recent appearance on the Hey Dude… The 90s Called! Podcast, Hart, 47, revealed that while filming the first Sabrina film in 1996, she had a fling with her co-star Ryan Reynolds.

The Sabrina set was so iconic, Hart couldn’t resist taking some mementos with her.

In a 2019 interview with Architectural Digest, Hart said she still had some of the props she took from set displayed around her home, including an umbrella holder and a sign that says ‘Witches Brew’.
