Fans are begging Travis to do this one thing at Taylor’s Aussie concerts

It’s the question on every Australian Swiftie’s lips – is Travis Kelce going to be joining Taylor Swift for her Sydney and Melbourne shows?

But now, the football superstar has all but confirmed that he will be coming Down Under.

Though Swift already touched down in Melbourne ahead of her Friday night shows, there’s plenty of speculation that Kelce will join Swift in a few days, once he’s finished celebrating his historic Super Bowl win.

On the podcast New Heights, which Kelce hosts with his brother Jason, he said: “I’m gonna venture to an island here soon.” When Jason asked which one, he replied: “I think the best ones are south right now.”

Unless he’s talking about Singapore or Sri Lanka, there’s a very strong chance that Travis Kelce is headed Down Under.

And keen fans need him to do one very particular thing while he’s here: a shoey.

For the uninitiated, a shoey is a classic Aussie past time, where an alcoholic drink is poured into – and then drunk from – a shoe.

Last year, Harry Styles did a shoey live on stage at his concert in Perth. Post Malone, Kasey Musgraves, Maisie Peters, and Stormzy have also all joined the shoey club while touring Australia.

If there’s any international star who would not only energetically do a shoey – but also enjoy it – it’s Travis Kelce.

Just look at the material:

Whether you call him a larrikin or a loose unit, Kelce certainly seems like the kind of guy who would really fit in with the Australian drinking culture.

As we know, the Chiefs player really responds well to communication done through friendship bracelets. It’s how his whole relationship with Swift began, after all.

So if you’re heading to a show in Sydney – where he’s most likely to pop up – along with your Anti-Hero and Gorgeous friendship bracelets, why not also make one that says ‘do a shoey’ and try to get it to him?

If we all try as a team, maybe we can succeed.
