With over 28,000 views already, the video has been applauded for Elvire’s clever techniques to rake in a whole load of cash for what she calls a simple side hustle.
Her favourite trick involves letting a company put a sticker of their brand on your car.
Once you sign up with someone who offers the service they will send round an advertising sticker for you to stick on.
The stickers can range in size and the spot where you put it can vary.
Although it might seem like a bizarre idea at first, this way of promoting a brand is hugely successful for the business so in return they’ll pay out a big chunk of valuable cash.
She recommends people use Car Quids to find the best offers and has seen fantastic results with people earning way over £150 a month by simply putting a sticker on their car.
Brands such as Papa Johns, Joe & Sephs and Travelex all use car adverts to attract in new customers.
And to make it an even sweeter deal some companies offer free trials, products or samples to go alongside the stickers.
Motors of all sizes are usually accepted and if you aren’t happy with an advert you can refuse to show it.
The stickers are an adhesive vinyl wrap and a special transparent vinyl is used if it goes on windows so it doesn’t affect your vision.
The idea is so important to big brands as it is estimated that the average person’s car is seen a whopping 300,000 times each month meaning a simple sticker can earn them big bucks.
Buses and taxis already have adverts on them in a very similar method of promotion.
Some companies who offer the service might need you to drive a certain number of miles to be paid but many just want you to have their brand constantly on show.
The Tiktoker does admit it might not be for everyone to have big brands plastered over their car as she admits it isn’t “for the faint hearted.”
But the best part of the deal is that the stickers are only temporary and can easily come off whenever they need to.
ELVIRE’S OTHER TIPS
Elvire also revealed two other tricks she says everyone with a car should consider using.
The first is to rent out your car if you are in a position to be without your motor for a few hours a day.
The TikTok star says: “If you are someone who doesn’t really go out or you know what days you’re not going to be needing your car you can actually rent out your car on apps.
“Why not make a bit of extra money?”
If you’re confident enough to lend out your car then this deal could be a no-brainer as you earn money instead of the car just sitting out in the cold.
Her final clever secret to success is a slightly more obvious one.
Elvire says if you love to drive around at night or just enjoy being out of the house for whatever reason maybe consider using your car to deliver things such as food or parcels.
Companies like Amazon, Uber Eats, Just Eat and Deliveroo all constantly advertise jobs for drivers and you can pick and choose what hours you work usually as it doesn’t have to be a full-time job.
But with such a flexible commitment it can land you some good cash with the average hourly rates pocketing drivers £10.50 to £15.
After giving her great tips, the Money Hero told her thousands of followers: “Let’s get our money up during the cost of living crisis.”
Overjoyed and grateful fans of the tips took to the comments of the viral video.
One said: “Hadn’t heard of 2 out of 3 of these, thank you.”
As another simply put: “Ooooooo.”
