Branthwaite has made a name for himself in the Premier League this term with the 21-year-old cementing a starting spot at Goodison Park.
And his performances for the Toffees are putting a number of top teams on high alert.
According to the Mail Online, Man Utd and Spurs are among five teams who are vying for the Englishman’s signature.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid are also said to be interested, but are lagging behind United and Spurs in the race.
The Red Devils are keen to add Branthwaite to their ranks with Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos understood to want two young centre-halves in the summer.
Although the Manchester giants have other options in their sights should Branthwaite be lured to join one of their competing rivals.
It is reported that United have been keeping contact with Benfica’s Antonio Silva, Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo and youngster Leny Yoro at Lille.
Ratcliffe and his Ineos team are looking to make some major improvements to Erik ten Hag‘s team with the British billionaire taking charge of football operations at Old Trafford.
