INDIAN LOUIS (2.45 Ayr, nap)
Was a revelation when winning on chase debut at Musselburgh last time. He jumped brilliantly when going from the front under Derek Fox and showed no signs of slowing over this distance in testing ground. The handicapper has not gone mad with a 5lb rise in the weights and there should be a lot more to come from Lucinda Russell’s improver.
FOLLOWANGO (1.55 Lingfield, nb)
Scored on her bumper debut at Ffos Las in November and has shown promise on both hurdles runs since. She was third on debut at Chepstow before returning to the Welsh track for a half-length second. Today’s soft ground is ideal and this first try beyond two miles looks a wise move. She wouldn’t have to find a lot more to land her first jumps success.
FIA FUINIDH (2.15 Ayr, treble)
Saves his best for this testing ground and went close here last time. Trainer Martin Todhunter has given him a wind op since then, which could make a difference, and a repeat would see him right on the premises again.
MAJOR FORTUNE (3.35 Lingfield, Lucky 15)
The Skeltons have him in excellent form with game wins at Market Rasen and Hereford. He has no issues seeing out this tough trip and a 6lb rise in the weights won’t put the brakes on.
