But Bodycare has it will close one of its stores next week.
The chain will pull the shutters on its branch in Leyland, Lancashire. on February 14.
It comes despite Bodycare’s headquarters being located less than two miles away, Lancashire Post reports.
It is currently unclear if the branch, which operates as Graham’s, will be replaced by a new store in the area.
Locals were quick to reveal their disappointment at the closure.
One said: “I’m gutted. I’m always in here. Leyland won’t be the same without Grahams.
“Been shopping there since I was a kid. So sad to see it go.”
A second wrote: “No, please don’t go, we love this store.”
And a third added: “Oh not another love this store go in all the time.”
The bargain store also sells a huge range of lesser-known brands for far cheaper than rivals’ own-branded items.
Bodycare was launched in 1970 on a market stall in Lancashire and now has more than 130 stores across the UK.
It comes as shoppers have been left in despair as a department store also marks the closure of another branch.
A major coffee chain with 2,000 stores is also closing down another branch following a string of closures.
