EDDIE HEARN has hinted he’s sent an offer to Gervonta Davis over a potential clash with Conor Benn.
Brit welterweight Benn was on the receiving end of a shock callout from the WBA (regular) lightweight champion after his points win over Peter Dobson in Las Vegas last weekend.

A fiery back-and-forth ensued on social media, in which both men traded stinging verbal jabs.
Keen to silence the Baltimore bruiser once and for all, Benn tweeted to his promoter: “@EddieHearn [slide] in before the little fella gets mad.”
Along with a handshake emoji, Matchroom Boxing chief Hearn replied: “Done.”
It didn’t take long for Benn to respond with another dig at Davis, who he likened to an Oompa Lumpa from ‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’.
He said: “Let’s just wait [for] Gervunpa Lumpa to screengrab the conversation.”
Davis was quick to clap back at Benn, writing with winking face and clock emojis: “No need, we are all on the same page.”
Benn, 27, responded by saying: ‘Don’t be all talk either let’s make sure this happens next.
“Me and you centre of the ring and we will see who’s left standing.”

Benn’s name is on the hit list of a lot of several fighters, a fact which hasn’t gone unnoticed by Hearn.
He said: “Is there anyone between 140 and 160lb who doesn’t want to fight Conor Benn?
“Whole World calling his name.. big fight next!”
Although his sights are seemingly set on Davis, Benn will happily fight whoever Hearn puts in front of him.
He said: “I’ll fight anyone, I’ll have whoever Eddie [Hearn] puts in front of me, no problem.
“I was in cruise control, it was alright. It was good work. I always gun for the first round.
“I don’t miss when I shoot. I landed the shots and he was still standing.
“You can always do better. I will go back and I will assess.
“Overall, this is more for me getting back to where I was mentally.”
