The channel will launch on Sky and NOW TV on February 11 and will make tennis content available all day, every day for fans.
More tennis will be broadcast than anywhere else by Sky Sports, who say that more than 4,000 matches from 80 tournaments on the ATP and WTA Tours will be shown a year.
And that is in addition to their exclusive live coverage of the US Open.
Former top British tennis stars Tim Henman and Laura Robson will provide the expert summary with Gigi Salmon on hosting duties and the voice of Jonathan Overend on commentary.
Jonathan Licht, Sky Sports Managing Director, said: “It’s an exciting moment for Sky Sports as we launch a new home for tennis fans, and Sky Sports Tennis will give millions of homes easy access to watch the best players in the world all year round.
“We’re proud to be the undisputed home of live sport for fans in the UK and Ireland, and this new channel will add value for our customers, enabling them to enjoy even more of the sports they love.”
Sky Sports Tennis will also host a range of additional programming.
They claim that will include big-name interviews, behind-the-scenes access, and expert insights on some of the biggest matches and moments of the year.
