DANA WHITE has revealed fight fans won’t have to wait too much longer to learn the identity of UFC 300’s main event.

The eagerly-anticipated Sin City extravaganza is well and truly taking shape, although the UFC are keeping fans on tenterhooks by slowly dripping through fight announcements.
The main event for the historic card is currently still a mystery, although it’s expected to feature a title fight.
And White has revealed fans will “soon” learn the fighters who will top the bill of the card.
When asked if a potential grudge match between Israel Adesanya and Dricus Du Plessis could headline the show, he said: “I’ll have UFC 300’s main event for you soon.”
Eight fights have been announced for UFC 300 – which includes a slew of former champions and fan favourites.
Former men’s flyweight, bantamweight, featherweight, lightweight and light-heavyweight champions Deiveseon Figueiredo, Aljamain Sterling, Max Holloway Charles Oliveira and Jiri Prochazka will all be in action.
The quartet will take on fan favourites, Cody Garbrandt Calvin Kattar, Justin Gaethje Arman Tsarukyan and Aleksandr Rakic respectively.
One title fight is already official for the card, with strawweight queen Weili Zhang defending her throne against Yan Xiaonan in a Battle of China.

Undefeated Bo Nickal also features on the card, taking on octagon veteran Cody Brundage.
And hardcore MMA fans’ wish to have Jim Miller – who fought at UFC 100 and UFC 200 – compete on the card where granted this week when it was announced he’ll face fellow veteran Bobby Green.
White plans to blow those iconic shows out of the water with UFC 300, telling SunSport last December: “Well think about tonight and the buzz and the energy about tonight’s card.
“And think about the stuff I’m telling you guys about Miami.
“So we’ve got to beat this, Miami and a bunch of other great cards that are going to happen this year.
“I don’t remember who I was talking to, but the way I see UFC 300 is when it comes people are going to be going, ‘Holy S**T!
“That’s the first prelim of the night?’ That’s what UFC 300 is going to be?”
Veteran promoter White is rumoured to have a “rabbit in the hat” for the card.
During a recent episode of The MMA Hour, MMA reporter Ariel Helwani said: “They have a rabbit in their hat that they’re working on.
“It’s not a main event. I know there’s one. There is one, but it’s not a main event.
“Meaning, they’re trying to make this as special as can be.”
