Palace fans are known for producing a unique atmosphere during home matches at Selhurst Park.

Ahead of today’s match, however, they had their drum taken by Emirates stewards.

In response to the confiscation, Palace fans found a different way to show their support for their team.

Moments before kick off, supporters let off huge red and blue flares in the away end.

Plumes of smoke could be seen during the TNT Sports broadcast of the match.

Posting a video clip of the smoke, fan channel Eagle-Eyed Football wrote: “They took our drum but that ain’t stopping us.”

Another Palace fan gushed: “My club.”
