A WOMAN who lives in her car has revealed she thought she wouldn’t survive but it actually taught her many valuable lessons.
The woman – who goes by @thatgirlcharmagne on TikTok – took to the platform to share her “humbling” experience of life on the road.

In the video Charmagne starts by explaining that she never thought she would be living in her motor but had to after she couldn’t afford a house.
She says: “Living in your car is so humbling but in a good way because I realised in this journey that I don’t need half of the things that I thought I needed and that’s a refreshing thought.”
The clip runs through @thatgirlcharmagne’s daily routine as she explains she wants to keep everything as “low cost as possible.”
She can be seen collapsing the passenger seats to make her bed and hoovering and wiping the interior of the vehicle.
Charmagne concludes by saying: “I honestly did not think I would survive this summer with it being as hot as it was and I definitely didn’t think I would be doing this for a year but here we are.
“I just hope we are at the end of this journey because I’m pretty tired of doing this.”
Viewers of the video – which racked up more than 25,000 likes – flocked to support the woman in the comments sections.
One wrote: “The way you take care of your car, I know you won’t be homeless for long. You are not stuck in this situation, you are coming out of it.”
A second said: “Praying for your abundance & prosperity. Stay safe.”
“If you’re ever in Laurinburg North Carolina… let me know..a hot meal and safe place is here,” offered a third.
This isn’t the only person to share content of their experience living in their vehicle.
Luke, who goes by the name of ‘Homeless Hacks’ on TikTok, shared a number of videos which reveal his hygiene routine and sleeping arrangements.
The homeless man has also revealed how he manages to turn his car backseat into a bed which includes homemade curtains for privacy.
In one video, he showed his followers a “day in the life of living in my car.”
