‘Totally unique’ Bugatti supercar with mirror-like finish set to sell for eye-watering price… & it can top 300mph

The high-speed motor is up for sale as part of RM Sotheby’s Paris auction, with the lofty price all down to its unique colour and numerous added extras.

The 300mph Bugatti boasts a staggering 8-litre, W-16 engine that can power it from 0-60mph in just 2.3 seconds.

According to the listing, only 500 Chirons were ever made and it’s understood just three have the same mirror-like, chrome bodywork.

Indeed, the supercar’s price-tag is reflected in a number of upgrades and extras.

These include comfort seats, red brake callipers and even the model’s unique name – La Mer Argentee, which means “Silver Sea”- etched into the dedication plate and stitched into each headrest.

What’s more, the model boasts just one previous owner and has just 2,956 miles on its odometer.

The Chiron model, named after iconic racing driver Louis Chiron, is favoured by celebs including Cristiano Ronaldo and boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather.

A Sotheby’s spokesperson said: “Just 500 of these incredible machines were ever built and among that limited number, ‘La Mer Argentée’ stands alone as totally unique.

“Ordered in April 2016, this spectacular hypercar was one of the first three examples to be delivered, each of which left Bugatti‘s Molsheim atelier at the same time.”

The stylish motor goes under the hammer along with numerous other high-class cars at RM Sotheby’s Paris Auction on January 31.

This comes after another stylish silver motor has gone up for auction – with a head-turning Ford Capri ‘Silver Fox’ up for sale.

Meanwhile, a Rolls-Royce has been found parked outside an abandoned mansion and seemingly left to rot.

The vintage motor was discovered by a TikTok star and the mystery has baffled viewers.
