‘Beautiful’ mum, 37, found dead in Travelodge room after being discharged from hospital

A MUM was tragically discovered dead in a hotel room after being discharged from a mental health unit.

Anna Jane Marshall, 37, had been recieving treatment at the Cygnet’s Nield House in Crewe, after voluntarily admitting herself.

In August, the mum-of-one from Lancashire was was discharged by the hospital to a nearby Travelodge.

It in her hotel room, the mother was later found dead.

No futher details had been shared at time of writing.

Friends and family members described Anna as a “beautiful soul inside and out.”

An inquest into the cause of Anna’s death began yesterday (January 17) at Preston Coroner’s Court.

Coroner Kate Bisset decided that the final hearing will an article two inquest, according to LancsLive.

This means the state or or it’s agents, like health or social care services, might have failed to protect the deceased against a threat or risk.

Both the Cygnet and Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust are expected to give evidence at the hearing.

Tributes to Anna flooded her Facebook page after the tragic news of her death was announced.

People described her as “the most beautiful person” who enjoyed live going to gigs.

One friend said: “You were a beautiful soul inside and out, rest in peace gorgeous girl.”

Another posted: “I am absolutely heartbroken and I’m still waiting for all of this to be one big mistake, it can’t be real.

“Your smile could light up an entire room and the amount of lives you’ve touched over the years I bet I couldn’t count.”
