Man Utd striker boost with PSG ‘ready to sell’ £69m transfer target just months after signing him

PSG are reportedly considering the future of striker Goncalo Ramos – in a transfer boost to Manchester United.

The French champions signed Ramos in the summer on loan to work around Financial Fair Play issues.

But in November the move was made permanent in a deal worth £69million.

Ramos has since struggled in Paris though, having only played five minutes of league football since signing fully in November.

The forward did suffer from a virus and lost 6kg as a result.

But according to L’Equipe, PSG boss Luis Enrique is already having doubts over whether Ramos is a good fit for his side.

It is claimed the club could now look to sell the 22-year-old, who has just four goals in 19 games this season.

United were linked with the ex-Benfica star in the summer before they instead signed Rasmus Hojlund for £72m.

Hojlund is only just finding his feet in Manchester, with seven goals in 25 matches, and United are in the market for a striker this month.

Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise is also said to be a target following his impressive performances at Selhurst Park.

A new striker and wide attacker are part of a reported four-man transfer haul for new Old Trafford chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

There are two names being touted for the centre-back role with Nice‘s Jean Clair Todibo and Everton‘s Jarrad Branthwaite being named.

A right-back target for United is also expected to be Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong.
