The footage shows what looks to be a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle losing control in the motorway and crashing into an MPV two lanes over.

There appears to be tyre smoke coming from the back of the muscle car before is crashes, suggesting it accelerated hard for the camera.

After crashing into the Toyota Sienna MPV, the two vehicles go off the road and the MPV slides sideways.

It then digs in on the dirt and rolls over ending up on its side.

The video title reads: “Chevelle crashes into a minivan on the highway.”

The accident happened in Jacksonville, Florida and a passenger of another car recorded it all on a smartphone.

It is unknown if the drivers suffered any injuries due to the accident.

The black stripes on the Chevelle suggest it might be a rare range-topping SS model, which can often sell for around £70k.
