After a four-month delay, the 75th annual primetime Emmy Awards are about to get underway.

The 2023 Hollywood actors and writers strikes led to the lengthy delays for the awards show, usually held in September, celebrating the year in US television.

The big nominees for today are Succession and Ted Lasso – the final season of both are set to dominate in the drama and comedy categories, respectively.
