And it certainly couldn’t come at a better time, with temperatures across the UK dropping below freezing this week.
Many drivers will look to use the heating in their cars to help defrost their windscreens, if not already putting in the work with an ice-scraper.
But in a video uploaded to TikTok, Kayleigh claims that a quick and easy way to defrost you car is by using a zip-lock bag.
You can buy a pack of 20 of these flexible storage bags for just £2.10 at Tesco – working out at 10p each.
Kayleigh says that by filling one of the bags up with warm – not hot or boiling – tap water, it defrosts your car in next to no time.
All you have to do is run it along your windows and the magic will instantly happen.
The revelation certainly left viewers in complete awe, although many agreed that it makes perfect sense.
“That’s actually kinda smart,” one person said.
“Genius! Gonna give that a go! Thanks!,” said another.
However, many people were also quick to point out that Kayleigh risks breaking or smashing her windscreen by using hot water.
But she makes clear that you must only use warm water for her hack.
Elsewhere, drivers have also been left raving over a “magic” de-icing hack that saves them from scraping the windscreen.
Motoring experts from Driving Test Success posted the nifty trick to TikTok ahead of the icy “Arctic blast” across for the UK this week.
And motorists are only just finding out about the common household item that can stop your windscreen from getting icy.
The controversial hack involves cutting up and rubbing an onion across your windscreen to help save you time on frosty mornings.
