The Sin City extravaganza is slowly but surely taking place, with White keeping MMA fans on tenterhooks by slowly drip-feeding fight announcements.
And the veteran promoter is set to announce a mammoth clash of hard-hitting fan favourites for the eagerly-anticipated event.
That’s according to AGFight, who claim a clash between former men’s flyweight and bantamweight champions Deiveson Figueiredo and Cody Garbrandt is set to land on the card.
The Brazilian outlet wrote on X on Thursday night: “Breaking: UFC forwards Cody Garbrandt vs Deiveson Figueiredo to UFC 300, in Las Vegas, on April 13.”
The bout is reportedly set to take place at bantamweight, a division Figueiredo debuted in last month.
MMA fans worldwide were in a frenzy after learning of the report, with one saying: “This is a gooden.”
Another said: “Wow let’s go.”
And another said: “Interesting matchup.”

One remarked: “Oh I’m excited about this one!!!”
Another chimed in: “Absolute banger.”
Garbrandt called for a showdown with Figueiredo after knocking out Brian Kelleher at UFC 296 last month.
He said: “This fight is long overdue. You’re in my division now.
“So, April or May, it would be a great fight with you, Deiveson Figueiredo.”
The imminent addition of Figueiredo vs Garbrandt will be just the sixth fight of what is expected to be a 12-bout card.
A women’s strawweight bout between Zhang Weili and Yan Xiaonan is currently the only title fight officially booked for the card.
Former men’s bantamweight, lightweight and light-heavyweight champions Aljamain Sterling, Charles Oliveira and Jiri Prochazka will all be in action.
The trio will throw down with Calvin Kattar, Arman Tsarukyan and Aleksandr Rakic respectively.
Bo Nickal will also look to continue his surge up the ranks, taking on octagon veteran Cody Brundage.
